The Trip Manager
Create a trip
Five steps: occasion, basics, features, players and publish.
- On the Home or Rounds tab, tap Plan a trip, bucks or work day.
- Pick the occasion. GolfBreak sets up the rest, and you can change anything later.
- The basics: name the trip, say where it is, set the start date with −7, −1, +1 and +7, and add rounds (up to 8). Give each round a course, a format and a Chaos Dial.
- Switch on the features you want.
- Paste in who’s coming, one per line, with a handicap after the name if you know it (for example “Dave 12”, or “Josh +2” for a plus handicap). Or skip this and send the invite link.
- Check the summary and tap Publish the trip.
The occasions
- Mates trip (12 to 24): captains, a live draft, a Ryder Cup and a Green Jacket. The full show, over three rounds.
- Bucks party (8 to 20): the groom’s weekend, private and spicy, run by the best man.
- Work day (20 to 100+): mixed teams, scrambles and sponsor holes. Work-safe and fun for beginners.
- Society or club day (20 to 100+): flights, daily winners and an order of merit.
- Charity day (40 to 120): team scramble, sponsored holes and a leaderboard. No money games.
Publishing makes the Trip Page and an invite link for the group chat. Nobody needs to install anything to join. Just one day with invites? Use the simple setup link on the first step instead.
Tip Work and charity days are work-safe: no drinking cards and no money games.
